Engraving

Engraving using two different methods – mechanical and laser engraving. Laser graving is used to burn an image onto the surface of a material (wood, leather, metal, glass, plastic) using a laser beam. The laser beam removes the surface layer of the material, so that the color of the object changes or an embossing forms. The color of the final result depends on the material of the product. Laser engraving cannot be preformed on precious metals – on precious metals the engraving has to be preformed mechanically. Mechanical engraving produces the desired image on the surface of a material using a blade. The engraving pattern is in contrast with the surrounding surface and is abrasion resistant.
